- Two sets of camo, we recommend scent-lok or scent-blocker clothing as we have seen a difference from those who use it.
- Rain Gear
- Two Pair of Boots
- Safety Belts
- Bow Rope to Pull Bow into the Treestand
- Bow Hook for Tree
- Flashlight w/extra batteries
- Urine Container
- Radios (i.e., Motorola 2-way) - we do not provide radios. You may bring these if you wish. Some hunters use them to maintain contact with their hunting buddy or guide. These are not required.
- Range Finder (very important) majority of the deer missed or wounded are because of misjudged yardage.
- The Weather here changes very quickly, please be prepared with the proper clothing.
- You will not need towels/blankets/sleeping bag.
- Please practice shooting at least 1 month prior to your hunt. Shoot from 18 - 20 feet if possible. Be accurate up to 30 yards.
- We discourage the use of expandable broad heads.
- Scent-Killer Spray - We do not recommend the use of scents (ie., lures) as we have found that they spook more deer than they attract. Going scent free and spraying down often with scent killer spray is the best combination.
- Our tree stand heights are anywhere from 18 - 22 feet. If you are uncomfortable with this, please let myself or your guide know so we can make some adjustments.
- We have access to a fully equipped bow shop 5 minutes from the lodge.
